She moved and settled in Queenstown with him and sat the New Zealand Dental Registration Examinations, which enabled her to work as a dentist for us! With her relaxed style of treatment and her keen interest in complex restorations, crowns, bridges and dentures she brings 20 years of experience and a friendly and smiling vibe to our workplace.

Jessie Tucker Hygienist
Jessie is our practice's Dental Hygienist and has been with us for three years after moving down from Auckland (we try not to hold this against her!) She has been practising Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy for 5 years now, concentrating more on Dental Hygiene because this is where her passion is. Jessie always strives to make her patients feel as comfortable as possible because she is a firm believer that prevention is better than cure and wants her patients to love coming in for their recall maintenance appointments.
Outside of work Jessie rows for Wakatipu Rowing Club , trains at the gym and enjoys tackling the beautiful mountains we are privilege to, because really who can resist these!
If you see her out and about and it looks like she doesn't recognise you it may be her twin sister you are giving funny looks to- but don't worry they are both used to smiling back just in case!

Helen Skudder Practice Manager/Dental Assistant
Helen is a long term resident of Queenstown having lived here in the Wakatipu area since 1981. Helen joined the practice in 2011 to cover a staff member going on maternity leave, and with no previous experience as a Chairside Dental Assistant she studied and gained the New Zealand Dental Association Certificate in Dental Assisting in 2012.
Previous administrative roles have assisted in Helen's current role as Practice Manager, and she keeps a hand in as a Chairside Dental Assistant and can also be seen helping in reception or assisting with our visiting Periodontal Specialist on occasion. Helen is known as our "Go to Girl" or Detective Skudder" due to her skills at finding things when they go missing and has a great local knowledge of the Wakatipu area.
Helens interests outside of work include keeping fit by going to the gym, attending Jit Jitsu classes, mountain biking and utilising the many walking tracks around the Wakatipu region. Helen is well known around the area for her services to the community as Candy Floss Fairy at events such as school and church fairs (which she disclosed as a conflict of dental interest at her initial interview!!!).
Hannah Jarmany Dental Assistant
Hannah Jarmany joins us from the UK and has 4 years’ experience working as both a dental chairside assistant and orthodontic assistant. She completed her Advanced Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing and Certificate in Dental Radiography in 2015 and she has stepped into the role with ease!!
Hannah is good at picking up on patient anxieties and enjoys putting people at ease during their dental treatment.
Her interests outside of work tend towards the adventurous- she has always loved snowboarding and since she has moved to New Zealand her favourite past time is going on surf/wakeboarding missions and generally anything in the outdoors. A recent encounter with a seal while surfing had the potential to put her off but she thinks she'll be back in the water in no time!
Annette Seddon Receptionist/Front Office
With over 15 years’ experience in dental administration Annette is the person whose smiling voice will greet you on the telephone most days. She joined us in 2008 following 9 years at a busy practice in Melbourne and our practice could certainly not function without her!
She co-ordinates the other staff who work on reception and manages staff and patient expectations with empathy and efficiency ensuring that you can get appointments when you need them. When she isn’t at work she enjoys hiking, gardening and does various volunteer work in the community.
Dani Adams Dental Assistant
We share Dani between our practice and the Community School Dental Clinic, so if you have school aged children you may have met her before! She is currently working with us on Mondays and Fridays, while studying her New Zealand Dental Association Certificate in Dental Assisting and is enjoying the challenges of a new career.
Being bilingual and fluent in English and Portuguese, we have a lot of patients from Brazil who seek Dani out to assist them with booking appointments and translating difficult dental terminology when they are seeing the dentist. After over 10 years in New Zealand she's fluent with kiwi lingo too!
Outside of work Dani enjoys cooking delicious but not very healthy food (a throwback from her days as a professional pastry chef!) and is trying to practice yoga.
Glenda Smith Dental Assistant
Glenda Smith is a long time Queenstown local, having lived here for 33 years and she joined us as a patient in the 90's when Judy Sim first opened the practice. She later joined our team as a dental assistant and at nearly 10 years working within the practice she is our most experienced assistant!
Outside of work Glenda has a large and close extended family and spends a lot of time with her children, grandchildren, grand nieces and nephews. She has a reputation as a baby whisperer and has been known to look after the staffs children too!!
